Dan Berkson is an Oakland-based jazz pianist, composer, and electronic music producer originally hailing from Chicago, and a long-time resident of London. After many years in the UK, he has recently relocated to the East Bay and is bringing his new group back to The Back Room after a near sell-out last January.

They will be performing compositions from his most recent LP, Dialogues, as well as digging deep into the American Songbook and into the works of Billy Strayhorn and Thelonious Monk.
